DHT22 Temperature and Humidity Sensor

The DHT22 (also known as AM2302) is a high-performance digital sensor that measures both temperature and humidity with excellent long-term stability. It features a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor, providing accurate data over a wide range.

Compared to its smaller sibling, the DHT11, the DHT22 offers better accuracy, wider measurement ranges, and longer data transmission distance. It communicates using a single-wire digital signal, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers for real-time environmental monitoring.

The DHT22 is widely used in home automation systems, weather stations, HVAC controls, and other temperature- and humidity-sensitive applications.
